With winter fast approaching, now is the time many people start to experience problems with their cars. It may be that your car has been running fine all through the summer months but as soon as the cold mornings start to hit, you find that it splutters for a while when you first start it or even worse it won’t start at all.
Often these issues are relatively simple to rectify, it may be that your battery is on its way out and struggling to keep its power. Or possibly that there is an issue with the automatic choke on the vehicle. A quick visit to the garage for an all over health check should pick up on problems that may be happening in the morning when trying to start the car from cold. Your garage may recommend that you put the car on the diagnostic machine which will read any faults recorded by the engine, sometimes doing this can save a lot of money that can be wasted on fault finding manually.
