Is your garage a good place to park your car?

With the winter months fast approaching, many of us are dreading the cold, frosty mornings when we have to scrap the ice off our cars and sit dithering form ages whilst the windows demist. Although you can opt for a frost screen, the best way to avoid having to do this mundane task is to be able to park your car in a garage. Many of us fill our garages up with junk meaning there is no room to park the car, but really this is the main purpose of most garages and it makes sense, especially during the winter months to use them.

If your car will fit in the garage why not start to use it more often, especially when the bad weather hits, not only will it mean you don’t have to get cold defrosting it but it can also save a lot of time. It also can be safer as you don’t have to risk driving off without your windows fully defrosted only to find that they frost up again whilst you are driving. During freezing temperatures, sometimes the screen wash can freeze and can take ages to thaw out. With salt on the roads making our screen mucky this can be lethal. When your car is parked inside you will often time it does not freeze or if it does, defrosts very quickly.
