Car Sales Tactics to be Aware of

Moonlight Cars random banner image
Many car sales staff work mostly on commission and are trained to sell hard. When you go to look at a vehicle they have for sale they will often offer you a specific deal that is only valid for that day. If this is the case then you could always go and grab a coffee somewhere to think about it without the pressure. Many garages say this, but if you actually call them up the next day or so and say you will buy the car but only if they honour the original deal, often you will find they will still do it. Unfortunately this is another hard sales push that many garages try to do. They are expecting you to haggle a bit so always ask for either money...

The truth about the Renault Clio

So it’s fair to say that Renaults sometimes get a bit of a bad reputation with people saying that the electrics very often go wrong and that they are unreliable and not very fun to drive but my personal opinion of them is somewhat different and here’s why:- My second ever car was a 3 door Renault Clio, with electric windows, sunroof and wing mirror controls. It also had air con which for the age of the model I had was pretty good. I had the car for about 2 years and I have to say it was brilliant! But more than just annoying this feature can also be quite dangerous, imagine doing the grocery shopping with young children, you get to the car, put the children in their seat and...

Seat Leon Drivers Review

Well I have to say I am thoroughly impressed by my new SEAT Leon, in ‘Monsoon grey’ and with LED headlights it really does look the part. A fantastic family car but sporty enough for a young (ish!) driver. The boot is nice and deep and very roomy with a good shape that avoids issues such as rear headlights making the boot opening impossible to fit things in like so many cars at the moment. The rear of the car comfortably fits in a baby seat with Isofix not to mention all the junk you end up carrying round to accommodate said baby! The drivers set-up and dash board is perfectly designed to be clutter free without too many buttons and dials and the touch screen tech pack works very...
