If you are thinking of purchasing a used car, then you may already have sussed a few of the tricks they use to get you to purchase a car. Not all second hand car sales people are sly and most will not deliberately deceive you, but they may have received some training on ways to pursued you a little more than the average man or woman on the street. One of the most commonly used lines is delivered when you have decided you like a car but are contemplating as to whether to buy it or not. You may hear the salesperson utter the words, “there are a long list of people waiting to look at this car and I cannot secure it without a deposited off you.” Although this...

Checking boot capacity

When choosing what car to have you need to consider how much space you require. Many people assume that most 5 seater cars have a similar amount of boot space but this is not correct. Some cars have a lot of room for the passengers but the boot is very small meaning you struggle to get your weekly shopping in let alone a pushchair. If the leak is small there are a number of things you can try to fix it before having to fork out the hundreds of pounds a garage will want to supply and fit a new one. There are a number of products such as RadWeld that you pour into your coolant that will circulate around the car cooling system, finding any leaks and plugging them up. The solution...

Moonlight Cars random banner image
So you’re driving along and all of a sudden a warning light come s up on your dashboard of your car. You have no idea what the light is but are sure that you have not seen it before. Our instant reaction often is to panic assuming that there is something wrong with the car that requires you to stop driving it immediately. This is very often not the case, but all lights should be investigated as soon as possible. The vehicle handbook should be kept in the car at all times so you can refer to it when needed. Many people take this out of the car when they purchase it to keep it safe or to have a read through but forget to return it to the vehicle....
